Gabriele Ermacora

Gabriele’s current position is post doctor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is passionate about robotics and the social impact of technology. He is the Co-founder of Hackability NGO, a non- profit organization that applies the paradigm of mass customization, to produce solutions exploiting a new design methodology called “co-design”.

The goal is to provide social inclusion through a new manufacturing process for people with disabilities, and Hackability China, a social innovation project to help people with disabilities with technology.

He is also Co-founder of HotBlack Robotics Srl, where they aim at spreading the services and implementations of robotics technology. We created a community of robot makers called “ROKERS” to promote service robotics and bring digital transformation to SME as well as larger organizations.
